Heat pumps are the future of efficient and eco-friendly home heating and cooling. They use electricity to move heat instead of generating it, resulting in lower energy bills and reduced emissions. Heat pumps provide a great sustainable, and cost-effective solution to combat rising natural gas prices! Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA)'s  Sustainable Technologies Evaluation Program (STEP) has created a Smarter Home Heating website to raise awareness for heat pump deployment in single-family homes across GTHA and Ontario.
