Clean Train Coalition

Green 13 is supporting the important work the Clean Train Coalition (cleantrain.ca) is doing to ensure the proposed Metrolinx Airport Rail Link will use trains that are electric rather than ones that run on the incredibly polluting diesel.

The group is holding a fundraiser to help with their campaign via a screening of the the film Toxic Tresspass at the Revue Cinema on Roncesvalles Avenue.

As well, Metrolinx is hosting a number of open houses to showcase their new transit plans. These will be important opportunities for the public to express their views.
