Junction Geo - Public Good Initiative Report Launch
Location: Annette Library, 145 Annette St.
Join Green 13 and Public Good Initiative (PGI) for a presentation and discussion on the feasibility of building next generation district-based geoexchange heating and cooling systems in older urban neighbourhoods like ours.
Continuing our work to help mitigate climate change by reducing residential GHG emissions, Green 13 has been looking for a community level low carbon heating and cooling solution. We are launching Junction Geo project to bring district-based geoexchange system to the Junction area.
Last fall, we engaged PGI, a pro bono policy consulting organization connected with the University of Toronto, School of Public Policy and Governance, to investigate existing district-based geoexchange projects and supporting policies and regulations. As part of the discussion, they will be sharing their findings.
The event is free. To help us prepare better, please RSVP at junctiongeolaunch.eventbrite.ca
