Humber River now protected by Greenbelt - a Welcome Celebration

Humber River now protected by Greenbelt
A Welcome Celebration
Organized by TEA - Toronto Environmental Alliance
Join TEA (Toronto Environmental Alliance) on Sunday, October 1st as TEA celebrates ravine protection and the addition of the Humber River to Ontario’s Greenbelt!
From its headwaters north of Toronto to Lake Ontario, the Humber River now enjoys protection from the Greenbelt all along its banks. So do Don River and Etobicoke Creek. It took TEA 8 years of advocacy to make this happen. To show gratitude to the thousands of people who joined the campaign to protect the ravines and grow the Greenbelt, TEA is holding a series of celebrations in these ravines.
The next one is right here, in our neighbourhood, by our precious Humber. For more information and to RSVP visit TEA's Welcome to the Greenbelt: A Celebration in the Humber River page.
We hope you can join in!
