we have invited TRCA , Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, to present a workshop on “Greening Your Grounds - The Joys of a Rain Garden”. Rain gardens are beautiful outdoor spaces with a lot going on just below the surface. Their special design absorbs excess rainwater, filtering it as it returns to the soil. Be inspired by beautiful rain gardens while learning how to create the right rain garden for your property. Participants will receive a free copy of the Greening Your Grounds Homeowner’s Guide.

Green 13 is delighted to collaborate with Swansea Horticultural Society to co-host this free workshop, at Swansea Town Hall, 95 Lavinia Ave, on Wednesday, April 25, 7:30-9 pm.

Emily Rondel, Toronto’s Community Engagement Coordinator at TRCA, will be organizing and leading the workshop. The number of participants at this free workshop will be capped at 100. RSVP is required via: https://trca.ca/event/joys-rain-garden-5/?instance_id=3122
Alternately, you may email : emily.rondel@trca.on.ca  or phone her at: (416) 268 3385 to register.
