Project Neutral receives Tides Top 10 Award!

Green 13 representatives Natasa Zupancic and Paul Mero joined the celebrations with Project Neutral as they received a Tides Top 10 award! This is an annual award given out to 10 promising environmental initiatives from across the country.

Green 13 leads Project Neutral's Junction pilot initiative. Working together we help local residents reduce carbon emissions. We've been part of launching city programs like HELPand promoting initiatives like Getting to 80, that provide assistance to residents who want to cost effectively reduce their their carbon pollution; We've also been hosting workshops, like Retrofitting Vintage Homes for Energy Efficiency: Practical Know-How and Financing Options April 26, 2014, that provide access to experts who can help explain the issues and challenges of reducing emissions when living in older homes.

It is very exciting to see Project Neutral recognized nationally for the leadership role it is playing helping local communities reduce their carbon emission. And, Green 13 is excited to be the leading partner in the Junction and Ward 13 areas.
