Eco Energy Fair is at Artscape Wychwood Barns this Sunday, Nov. 28th, from 1-4 p.m.

This is back by popular demand from last year's Hole in the Home Show. Exhibitors will include businesses working in the energy audit field, efficient furnaces, insulation, and solar solutions. There will be neighbours with experience in retrofitting their homes who can answer some of your questions about what worked for them and what kind of a difference their changes are making in reducing their energy consumption. As well we will have the latest on government rebates--yes, there still are some of those available.

However, the mayor of Vancouver, BC has not only supported the idea of front yard vegetable plots, they are actively promoting them. Please write to your local city council member or to city hall directly to have the recent front-yard vegetable plot decision overturned.
